Bookem training - making bookings and navigating your calendar

Making a booking in your calendar is quick and easy. Whether for a client or team availability, the process is intuitive.

Follow the steps below to add a booking and keep your calendar organised.

  • Toggle between locations

  • Switch between day, week and list views

  • Check availability

  • Manage bookings with comments

  • You can also track invoice status

  • Reveal hidden bookings

How to schedule an appointment manually

Follow these steps:

  • Start by opening your Calendar

  • Click on the relevant day and time and fill in the client's details

    - Type in their first name, last name, cellphone/ email address

    - If the client has previously booked, their details will populate in the dropdown

  • If you have multiple locations, select 'Search all locations' to find clients from other locations

  • Select the service and click 'Save'

    The client will receive a notification based on your Automated messages settings

How to change a booking

  • Go to your Calendar

  • Simply click and drag the booking to the new slot, or change the details from within the booking modal

  • Remember to click 'Save'

Mark a booking as cancelled or 'no show'

Bookem assumes that a client arrived for their appointment and automatically marks it as "completed", unless you mark it otherwise.

  • You can mark bookings as "no-show" or cancel them

  • Go to your Calendar and open the booking

  • Click 'Cancel' or 'No show' to mark the booking accordingly

How to view a clients booking history

You may wonder what happened to an booking - who made the booking, when was it changed or even cancelled?

  • Go to your Calendar

  • Open the booking

    Note: For cancelled bookings: Click on the three dots on the top right of your screen and toggle 'Show hidden bookings' to on

  • Scroll down and open the 'Booking history'
