How to add or take photos in Documents

Bookem's Documents feature allows you to take or upload photos directly into your patient notes and documents.

Adding images to documents helps both team members and patients by providing visual context that enhances understanding and recall. It supports progress tracking, captures key details, and improves assessment and diagnosis accuracy.

How to upload a photo to a document

Follow these steps:

  1. Go to your Calendar

  2. Open the relevant booking

  3. Click Documents > + New document

  4. Choose to start with a blank document or select one of your existing templates

Want to draw on your image?

After the image has been inserted into your document, you can click or tap on it to annotate. Just click the pencil icon in the top right corner of the image to draw, highlight, or scribble directly on it.

This is perfect for marking up photos, pointing out specific areas, or adding quick visual notes.
