Bookem allows you to generate invoices for single or multiple bookings directly from your calendar. The visual invoice status makes it easy to manage your invoicing at a glance, showing:
Bookings that need to be invoiced
Bookings that have been invoiced
Invoices that have been paid
With this clear view, you can quickly see who still needs to be invoiced, helping you stay on top of your billing.
This video shows you how to create an invoice, allocate a payment, and send a paid invoice receipt to a client in just a few clicks. Watch now to see how easy it is to manage invoices from your calendar.
1. Go to your Calendar
2. Select the booking you want to invoice for
3. Click on 'New Invoice'
4. Bookem will auto-populate the invoice with the client and service information
* You can create one invoice for multiple bookings by clicking on the '+Add Booking' button in the Invoice window
Before finalising an invoice, you can:
Add, edit or remove line items
Copy a previous invoice
Add line items or line item groups
Edit pricing or apply a discount
Add, edit or remove ICD - 10 codes
Once you're happy with the invoice, choose one of the following options:
Finalise – Saves the invoice while keeping it open for further edits
Finalise & close – Saves and closes the invoice
Finalise & send – Sends an unpaid invoice to the client
Finalise & pay – Allocates payment and saves the invoice. You'll also be prompted to send a paid invoice
You can generate invoices in Bookem from the client profile or Accounts > Invoices. This applies to invoices that are not linked to a booking, such as:
Packages (e.g. prepaid sessions)
Products (e.g. equipment, supplements)
If the invoice is for a booking, it should be generated directly from the calendar, and you can add these line items if necessary
Go to Clients and select the relevant client
Navigate to the Account tab
Click + Create an invoice
Add the required line items
Click Finalise to complete the invoice
Go to Accounts > Invoices
Click + New invoice
Use the Client search bar at the top to find, and select, the client from the drop down
Add the required line items
Click Finalise to complete the invoice
