Set up Tap Payments as an online payment method

Tap Payments allows you to accept secure online card payments directly through Bookem. Once connected, you can take payments for invoices using your Tap account

Once you'v set up your Tap account, you will need your Secret API key to complete the setup in Bookem.

Get your Secret API key from Tap

1. Log in to your Tap dashboard at https://os.tap.company/
2. Go to your account settings or developer settings (depending on your Tap dashboard layout)
3. Locate your Secret API key
4. Copy the key - Keep this key secure. You will paste it into Bookem in the next steps.
   

Connect Tap Payments in Bookem

Follow these steps:

1. In Bookem, go to Settings > Payments & Invoicing
2. Navigate to the Payment methods tab
3. Click '+ New payment method'
   
4. Select 'Online payments'
5. And click on 'Tap Payments'
6. Now, name your payment method and toggle settings for locations, online bookings and invoice display
7. Then go ahead and paste your Secret API key into the required field
   
8. Click Create and Save
