Bookem's EMGuidance integration allows healthcare professionals to quickly issue secure and compliant digital prescriptions, auto-filling patient details and sending them directly to patients or pharmacies.

How to Integrate EMGuidance with Bookem

Follow these steps:

1. First, get your own personal API key by registering for EMGuidance here

2. Now, go to Settings > Team Members

3. Open your own team member profile and navigate to the EMGuidance tab

4. Insert your personal API key into the provided field in Bookem

How to link a client to send EMGuidance scripts

Follow these steps:

1. Go to Settings > Team Members > EMGuidance

2. Enter your EMGuidance API key

3. Ensure your 'EMGuidance Field Map' is correctly configured by verifying your linked client profile fields.

• Bookem will automatically link available fields, but you'll need to verify their accuracy and use the drop-down to find client profile options

4. If any client profile fields are empty, Bookem will prompt you to fill them in unless the client has already provided the information through a sendable form.

5. Scroll down and click 'Save'

5. Now, navigate to the client's profile and open the 'EMGuidance' tab

6. If the client profile is complete, go ahead and click 'Create new EMGuidance patient'

7. Navigate to the EMGuidance tab on the client profile to issue a script

8. Click 'Issue script', which will redirect you to EMGuidance to complete your script.

Now, you can start sending scripts!

1. In the client profile under the EMGuidance tab, click 'Issue script'

2. EMGuidance will open in a new window with your script auto-populated with the client's profile information

3. Once you have created the prescription in EMGuidance, you can send it through SMS, email, or WhatsApp. The patient can also forward it to the pharmacy if it has not been sent directly.

• To send a prescription to a pharmacy, you can search for the pharmacy name in the directory or add a new one if it is not listed.
• Alternatively, you have the option to print the prescription and provide it directly to the patient.

All your scripts are saved in the client profile on both Bookem and EMGuidance for complete and accurate record keeping

FAQ

• You can start scripting once your TrustFactory AES certificate is issued, usually within 3 days
• You can upgrade or downgrade your subscription anytime via the self-service portal in the subscriptions tab
• Your subscription can be cancelled after 3 months by emailing script@emguidance.com
