Bookem makes it easy to record ICD-10 diagnostic codes and include them on client invoices.
To store ICD-10 codes in a client’s profile, you’ll need to add a custom field:
Go to Clients > Profile fields
Add a new field
Choose Tags as the field type
Rename the field from tags to ICD-10
Set the List source to Data list
From the drop-down menu, select ICD-10 Code Data List
Click Add item
You can now enter ICD-10 codes directly in each client’s profile.
* These codes will also be available when generating documents such as referral letters, patient notes and reports
To show ICD-10 codes on your invoices, you'll need to add a column for them in your line item settings:
Click Edit columns
Click Add column and select Tags
Rename the label to ICD-10
Set the List source to Data list
Choose ICD-10 Code Data List from the dropdown
Click Add item to save
Once set up, any ICD-10 codes saved in the client’s profile will automatically appear in the invoice.
If a client doesn’t have ICD-10 codes saved in their profile, you can enter them directly when creating an invoice:
Create a new invoice for the client
In the ICD-10 column, click inside the field and type the appropriate code(s)
Save the invoice
Tip: To save time, store frequently used ICD-10 codes in the client’s profile so they auto-fill in future invoices.
