Bookem lets you email invoices directly to medical aid, copying your patient for easy claim submission.
First, do the following:
Add medical aid details
Go to Clients > '+ New client'
Create a client for the medical aid with their name and claims email address:
You can do this for multiple medical aids, so that you have easy access to their contact when sending invoices
Generate the invoice
Create the client's invoice or locate an existing one in the client’s profile under the 'Accounts' tab
If they have paid, allocate payment by clicking '+Add Payment' on the invoice
Click 'Save'
Now, submit the invoice
1. In the client profile under the 'Account' tab, open the invoice
2. Then click 'Save & Send'
3. The client's email address will automatically populate, now add the medical aid's address
Pro Tip:
If you do not add the medical aid as a client, you can also manually add the claims email address here by typing it in
You can remove the client's address if necessary
4. Edit the email message text and click 'Send'
Sending the invoice link via SMS is also possible if you toggle SMS to ON at the top of the window
Note: Only one number can receive SMS notifications; multiple recipients require email
