Taking a break? Bookem lets you mark out your holiday time to prevent client bookings.
If there's a public holiday or a team member is away, you can indicate them as unavailable by scheduling time off. This ensures clients or other team members won't mistakenly book them.
Go to the Availability tab.
Click the +Time off button in the top left of the screen.
Fill in the following information:
Description: A brief description of the time off.
Start date: The date the time off begins.
End date: The date the time off ends.
Repeats: Whether the time off repeats.
Applies to: Who the time off applies to.
In this example, we're scheduling time off for Harry Potter from December 25, 2023, to December 29, 2023.
Follow the same setup steps, and change the "Applies to" to the relevant services and team members (see image below)
Take note that on Bookem, schedules are location-specific. This means that if you have more than one location, you will need to set up availability for each one separately.
