Adding voice recordings to a document

Bookem allows you to attach audio files to your documents in three different ways.

  1. Upload a voice recording from another app

  2. Record a voice note directly in the document

  3. Use speech-to-text to transcribe as you speak

Upload a voice recording from another app

  1. Record your note using an app like Voice Memos on iOS or macOS

  2. Save the recording to your device

  3. In the document, click the paperclip icon at the bottom

  4. Choose Media picker or browse your device files

  5. Select the recording to attach it

Record a voice note using the microphone

  1. In the document, tap the round recording icon at the bottom

  2. The icon turns red while recording and stops when tapped again

  3. The audio recording is saved to the document

Use speech-to-text

  1. In the document, tap the microphone icon at the bottom

  2. The icon turns red while recording and stops when tapped again

  3. Your spoken words will be transcribed directly into the document
